Hi Betsy,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am a member of this unfortunate club of parents that have lost a child. I relate to a lot of things you talk about in this article. I remember losing my temper on the mortgage representative when they were being rude and condescending when they kept prying as to why I needed an extension. I just blurted out because my son was murdered and I can't work right now. The silence on the phone line and profuse apology after made me take a beat and realize what I said. I probably traumatized that lady, but I was in so much pain, I treated her like she was treating me. Not one of my proudest moments. I don't like being like that. But sometimes in this grief journey - It is like that. Thank you for sharing.
