I am sorry for your loss. It must be hard to realize that you are now a part of the unfortunate club of grieving mothers. I too lost an adult child. It was very different circumstances but knowing how or why doesn’t make it any easier. In your article you often jumped from subject to subject, authenticating how a grieving brain works after such a death. I relate very well to the increased interest in death/crime shows. I too am constantly looking for an answer to the questions I have surrounding my son’s death. Somehow, shared experiences are comforting, even if they happen to be of the macabre genre.
Try to remember to be gentle to yourself.
